Calendar of Events

	The Wednesday BBQ will recommence around the end of October. Drinks and ice-creams are availible in the shop for all those people whose wish to pop out and say hello and enjoy some warm winter days.
	2010 Calendar

Aug 14	Indoor Sports Championships 2010 starting at 1.00pm. Come and try your hand at Indoor Bowls, Darts, 8 Ball and I think Table Tennis. This is followed at approx 6.00 to 6.30 with a Fish & Chips Tea.

Sept 11	We are inviting the locals to pop in a have a look at the great facilities we have with an afternoon tea and to say hello. The evening meal is one for our ladies, where the men do all the work from go to wo. Cook the dinner, serve it and then leave the kitchen spotless.

Oct 9	Working Bee time. The committee is generating this HUGH list of task that need doing so feel free to come along to assist with some of the jobs. One smaal problem is the list is small and the jobs are fairly easy to do (This is due to the excellent job Kobie and James do).

Nov 13 & 14	This is our annual compitition with the BOP club for the coveted Phoenix Shield. We currently hold it and they would like to take it back to Matata with them.

Dec 4	Time to celebrate Christmas and also that another year is ending and for most of us Xmnas holidays. It is also that time when we start getting warmer weather to enjoy our regular pleasure of spending more time in club uniform. WOS would also like to wish everyone a safe and merry Xmas and an enjoyable New Year during this period.
