Among the
many features included at Sunrise is a roomy clubhouse which has an
kitchen, indoor games room, sitting areas, TV lounge and four bedrooms.
Kitchen
There is a excellent
clean, tidy and fully equipped kitchen facility with a dining area attached.
The kitchen facilities includes water cookers, two 4 pit hobs, two microwaves,
one oven and also all the
plates, bowls and utensils a cook could ever wish for. There is
absolutely no need to bring these items with you when you come to
Sunrise.
Sitting Area
After a hot day in
the sun, relax in our sitting area and take the comfort of our lounge chairs,
TV, DVD, video and wood burner.
Games room
For a rainy day or
your time out of the sun, you are welcome to use the facilities of our games
room. Pool table, table tennis, darts, table games, all available for use.
Bedrooms
Several
bedrooms provide very comfortable accommodation and when booking, which
is a must in the summer, please remember there is a booking fee.
Sunrise has two camp site
area's for tents, caravan, campervans or motor homes, which are retained specifically for visitors set among the beautifully landscaped grounds.
There is a separate
shower and laundry block adjacent to the clubhouse which provides ample hot
water, heated by wood fire. Although we ask visitors to be careful with the amount they use in the summer
as dry weather can sometime lead to a low water supply.
To combine the natural lifestyle with the kiwi lifestyle, Sunrise has it's own main barbecue area (by the swimming pool).
Also a central point for a chat and many events.
The
centre of the daily social activities is our solar heated 12m long swimming
pool. With the depth of 5 foot (1,5m), the pool is ideal for swimming
laps, water volleyball or just relaxing.
The decking around the pool is the perfect place for sunbathing.
Children don't have
to bored at Sunrise. Besides the swimming pool and the game room in the clubhouse, there is a trampoline, swings, playhouse, bats, balls etc. available.
But pride of place at Sunrise is taken by the nine hole, chip and putt, golf course.
Golf can be played natural, since the golf course is on the premises of Sunrise.
The golf course is set among numerous trees and shrubs and is a very pleasant place to be even if you do not play golf.
Don't forget to bring your clubs and be prepared to be challenged.
A good selection of clubs would be a no.7 or 9 iron, a wedge, and a putter.
Throughout the summer tournaments are arranged and there are prizes for various
types of success, some clubs are available for use.

Our
latest acquisition, is a full length 1 lane outdoor bowling Green. This is set in
the middle of the social area. Bowls are available for loan.
