GETTING TO RAPERE

Rapere is located at 1504 Glengarry Road, Rissington. See our Website Map for directions or you can download a pdf file with specific directions from several places.

 

SERVICES

 

SHOP      We will have an on-site shop, selling ice creams, basic toiletries, etc. For staples such as bread and milk we will be taking orders each day, for collection the following morning.

 

PLEASE NOTE: there will be no eftpos or credit card facilities on the grounds.

 

BAR        We will have a bar, open each afternoon and evening – hours to be confirmed.  You are welcome to purchase your own alcohol off site.

 

MORNING AND AFTERNOON TEAS      will be served each day at 10.00am and 3.00pm – please bring your own cup.

 

LUNCH NUDEWAYS.      “We give you the bare ingredients, you dress the bun”. Similar to Subway, with selected cold meats and salads.

 

GAS BBQs    will be available for use all day, and we will be selling hot chickens. Salads can be ordered from the shop and will be purchased for you from the supermarket each day.

 

CATERED MEALS   please bring your own cutlery, crockery and glassware.

 

NEWSLETTER   a newsletter will be delivered to your site each morning, with the program for the day and news from the previous day.

 

SAFETY AND HYGIENE

 

FIRST AID STATION  will be in an alcove off the clubhouse kitchen.

 

SHOWERS & TOILETS I n addition to the clubhouse facilities there will be port-a-showers and

port-a-loos at various locations around the grounds.

 

POOL & SPA No children are allowed in the pool areas unless supervised by an adult.

 

FIRE    in the event of an emergency the bell will ring continuously. Please proceed to the assembly point as quickly as possible and await further instructions.

 

RUBBISH & RECYCLING    there will be rubbish and recycling stations at various locations around the grounds. We are aiming for a “green” rally with zero waste by recycling everything, including food scraps.

 

GENERAL

 

PHOTOGRAPHY     There will be designated rally photographers on the grounds. No other cameras may be used during the rally.  All photos will be available at the end of the rally – further details to be advised at a later stage.

 

SOUVENIR WINE   We are producing souvenir wine in three varietals; sauvignon blanc, chardonnay and merlot.  Bottles will sell for $15.00 each and can be pre-ordered by email: wendychamberlain@clear.net.nz

Your wine will be available for collection at registration when you arrive at the rally.
