The Club With The Friendly Atmosphere

Our Photo Album

Take a few minutes to browse through some photos of our club and surrounding area. On 18 May 2005 the club suffered a devastating storm which left rocks, trees and other debris strewn across the grounds. We have done much work recovering and these photos were taken since then. Camping facilities are available to members and visiting naturists year round.

Our sign is visible from the road as you approach the gateway.

Enjoy our new walking tracks, reconstructed in December 2007 to January 2008

Some of our tracks include stairways built into the side of the hills complete with hand rails

Relax in our new spa pool which is electrically heated all year round.

On special occasions we prepare a feast in the big cooker.

We often have pot luck dinners at the club, usually on the third Saturday of the month, but may change according to priorities.

Regular visitors to the club grounds include tui, quail and wood pigeon along with the usual sparrows, mynas and magpies. Hawks are also often visible in the sky and pheasants can sometimes be heard calling each other. Kokako are gradually coming back into the Manawahe hills

Since 2008 a craft market has been held at the club during the Labour weekend extravaganza. This is an event not to be missed.

The club is always more enjoyable when we have a lot of members and visitors on the grounds. While summer is generally the busy season we are open to visitors all year round but do require advance notice if you intend visiting when no-one is on the grounds as we do not have a resident caretaker.

The swimming pool is very well used over the summer months as well as for a mid-winter swim for the hardier members among us.
