Club Facilities |
The clubhouse includes a large lounge (pictured left) for relaxing, reading or games of cards or darts. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven, two refrigerators and a deep freeze. Cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery are provided. Bathroom facilities include flush toilets and hot showers, and there is also a laundry with a washing machine. |
For outdoor cooking there is a large gas cooker (pictured right) for club events and a gas barbecue. |
There are eighteen sites with electric power for caravans or motor homes plus several sites for pitching a tent. In the absence of a full time caretaker members share the responsibility of looking after the grounds and extensive gardens. |
Sports facilities include a fully fenced sheltered spa pool (pictured left) and a sealed miniten court. A 9 metre by 4.5 metre oval swimming pool is located in the center of the grounds for cooling off in the warmer periods. |
Easily followed trails provide pleasant walks through native bush including a small number of stream crossings. A more rigorous walk following the stream up towards its source affording some spectacular views of waterfalls and canyons is no longer available due to the neighbour being anti-naturism. Please obey signage on the tracks as we do not want to enter into any disputes with him. |
